I have one question i have been pondering and i thought that i might has well share my conclusion.The question is how the Greeks fell when they were one of the most technological advanced civilizations in history and very advanced in literature and Poetry. my conclusion is that they could not unite. Now more explained when Greece was still developing they were scadred tribes they lived in small villages.That learned to be independent which would have the affect of not letting them unite together.Which would have the affect of the Greeks eventually being conquered by the Macedonians.
that’s why in my opinion Greece was never able to become a empire.Hope you enjoyed reading this article.
First my favorite book is Plutarch’s books I like all his books are great. Believe that he is one of the best writers in history. my second favorite book is Gaius Julius Caesar’s The Conquest of Gaul because it is a first hand account of Caesar’s wars in Gaul. Although it was adjusted for propaganda when it was written. my third is Suetonius Twelve Caesar’s. Which gives a very descriptive account of the early Roman Empire.
After Caesars bloody conquest he was threatened by Pompey the great which fought a divisive battle at pharulus which won Caesar the first part of the war.then Caesar went to Egypt to chase Pompey but found him dead and stayed there for a while to settle affairs. then set off to fight Pharcanes which he did with ease. set off to fight successfully in Africa and Spain.but when he came back he was stabbed by Brutus and Cassius on the Ides of march
